As I reflect on this milestone, I find myself filled not with nostalgia, but with anticipation. The truth is, life continues to unfold in ways I never could have imagined, and I feel deeply grateful for the opportunities, growth, and possibilities that surround me.
This season of life is rich and full.
I am immersed in my work as a Reinvention Life Coach, helping others navigate change, discover purpose, and create lives that feel authentic and meaningful. I continue teaching through Osher Lifelong Learning at the University of Utah, where I have the privilege of learning alongside remarkable people who understand that curiosity has no expiration date.
This year, I will complete my 200-hour Yoga Teacher Training at Lila Yoga Studio, a journey that has strengthened not only my body but also my understanding of presence, compassion, and connection.
And the adventure continues.
On July 26, I begin a 285-hour Meditation Teacher Training program with The DavidJi Meditation Teacher Training Academy. The training culminates in a five-day immersive certification experience in Carlsbad, California, where I will spend my days living, breathing, practicing, embodying, and integrating the teachings oceanside.
What a gift it is to still feel called toward growth.
What a gift it is to still feel excited about what comes next.
Recently, I received my latest health and wellness assessment. The results showed that biologically, I am nearly twenty years younger than my chronological age. While numbers never tell the whole story, they do reflect something I have come to believe deeply: the choices we make each day matter.
Movement matters.
Nutrition matters.
Purpose matters.
Connection matters.
And perhaps most of all, having something meaningful to wake up for each morning matters.
At 78, I am not winding down. I am expanding.
I am learning.
I am teaching.
I am serving.
I am becoming.
The older I get, the more convinced I am that aging is not simply about counting years. It is about continuing to grow into the fullest expression of who we are.
Today, I celebrate not only another birthday, but the infinite possibilities that still lie ahead.
The Universe has surprised me many times before.
I have a feeling it isn’t finished yet.
With gratitude, curiosity, and an open heart, I step into another year of this beautiful adventure called life.
